Banega Swachchha India in Varanasi and Other Districts

Progressive Foundation works on hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness. It made 100 villages, in Varanasi, Etawah and Kannauj ODF (Open Defecation Free) working with Dettol and Dainik Jagaran to and running Banega Swachchha Indiadrive. We worked with PRI members, mothers, frontline health workers and faith leaders to sensitize and train them, and make the population aware about building and using toilets. Progressive Foundation assisted the PM’s team in renovating Ghats of River Ganga in Varanasi and installed drinking water system at Jayapur village in Varanasi.
